Adult Formation

Recognizing that faith formation is a life long journey, we hope to inspire adults to bring their faith to life through processes of learning, reflection and prayer that will lead to ACTION.  Through St. Peter's Adult Formation opportunities, we extend an invitation to grow and change; we hope to challenge adults who are capable of a full response to God’s word.

The mission of St. Peter’s Adult Formation ministry is to build a Catholic Christian community with a visible faith identity centered on:

  • - A clear Gospel proclamation
  • - Meaningful liturgical and sacramental celebrations
  • - A courageous witness in charity and love in a spirit of Christian joy.

To accomplish this mission, we will offer and promote formation opportunities within our parish, community and diocesan boundaries.  Please check the weekly bulletin for the latest opportunities to grow in your faith.

Often parishioners have a desire to attend formation opportunities, yet responsibilities to family and employer, or physical constraints, may prohibit one from attending scheduled events.  On the front page we have gathered links which can assist you in furthering your faith formation:  links to the daily reading of Holy Scripture, to information about the diocese, or the catechism of the Church.
