Did you know you can celebrate your 39 th birthday this month, but “biologically” you might be 25, or 49 or 53… The things you do—or don’t do—affect how fast you age. This 3-week series focusses on how to slow down the aging process for a healthier, longer life. Eating right and staying fit are key; you will learn what works best to lower your chances of suffering from the debilitating, degenerative diseases that are epidemic in America.
But that’s not all. Living the life of a good disciple is key, too. How so? Well, do you know what the “3 c’s’” are? Research now shows the “3 c’s” are very important to health and longevity. You may be surprised to find out the “ 3 c’s” are typical practices of good disciples of Christ. In fact, the “3 c’s” are central to our faith. So what are the “3 c’s”? Find out during this 3-week class!
FORMAT FOR THE CLASS: Each week a light delicious supper starts at 6:15 p.m. At 6:30 p.m., Janice begins her 15-minute intro to the evening’s topic, followed by Q&A and discussion. But this is not going to be all talk, no action.
Part of each evening we will get out of our chairs and “just do it!” You’ll receive a free, complimentary pedometer and get a walking partner at your level. The two of you will be there to support each other every step you take on our “indoor track.” No special dress needed; just a pair of walking shoes!
Come join us for 3 informative, fun evenings that will help you eat right, get in shape, and grow stronger as a disciple of Christ!
