When we first form our families through the Sacrament of Marriage, we affirm as part of the rite that we are prepared to lovingly welcome children.

One in six couples will experience infertility at some point in their marriage. Fifteen percent of known pregnancies end in miscarriage and the loss of an infant or child of any age is heartbreaking.

At St. Peter’s we understand this grief is heavy and often very private, yet we wish to minister to you and let you know you are not alone.

Please contact us to talk, ask for prayers or resources, or have someone to commiserate with, as we are some of the many in our Parish who have experienced these pains.

Resources we are happy to point you to include Catholic counseling options; private online support groups; books, websites, and articles we've found helpful; and direction to information about medical options and providers that address these issues with Catholic teaching in mind.
