Saint Peter's in the Park

Saint Peter's in the Park is a summer fellowship ministry that started in 2022 as a way to meet with other parishioners for a picnic in a local park to get to know each other better. This summer, you'll have the chance to go to three picnics - one per month - in June, July, and August. Come for one or for all three!

We'll meet on the 4th Saturday of each month throughout the summer at public parks that are centrally located near Saint Peter's. If you enjoy summer picnics and getting to know your fellow parishioners, please join us from 5-6:30 PM!

• June 24 at USC Horseshoe, 902 Sumter St., Columbia

• July 22 at Marshall Park, 2905 Lincoln St., Columbia

• August 26 at Guignard Park, 964 Axtell Drive, Cayce

 

This ministry is for everyone: couples, families with kids, and singles of all ages. To keep things simple, everyone is responsible for bringing their own picnic dinner and drinks. Feel free to bring something to share if you'd like, but keep in mind that table space may be limited (if there are tables at all). You can also bring camp chairs, blankets, frisbees, or other games. There's no agenda. Just come, meet people, and have fun!​
