Good Shepherd Chapel to Close November 26th

Father Linsky invites you to read the letter he sent last week to attendees of Good Shepherd Chapel announcing its final Mass and closure on Sunday, November 26th, the Solemnity of Christ the King. As he indicates, Father Ladkau recently ended his ministry at Good Shepherd. His departure and the very bad state of the Parish House and to a lesser extent, the chapel, makes continued use a serious safety concern. The good news, however, is that the properties are being transferred to Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Charleston and will be renovated to support their varied ministries giving a re-purposing and new life to them. Please warmly welcome all of those who attended Good Shepherd to Saint Peter’s should you encounter them at any of our Masses or parish activities.
