Baptismal Preparation

Are you expecting? Prepare before your bundle of joy arrives! Do you have a child you wish to have Baptized? Don’t put off having your child receive the Gift of Grace! Join us December 3 at 9:00 a.m. in Neglia Hall. At this session is for parents and Godparents we will explore the meaning of the sacrament and familiarize you with how the Baptism is celebrated. Both parents are asked to be present at the Baptism Prep. However, if for some valid reason one parent cannot attend the class, the Catholic parent must attend. Please note No Baptisms are scheduled during Advent. As part of the Baptismal Rite, parents are promising to raise their child in the faith. So that the Church may have an expectation that the child will be raised in the Faith, parents must be registered, participating members of St. Peter’s for at least 6 months. We delight in sharing this significant moment in your family’s ongoing faith development and pray that you will be enriched by your experience.
