The Basilica's Youthful Garden
At the Basilica of Saint Peter, the students in our Youth Ministry are lovingly known as our Youthful Garden. Just as a garden continues to grow and flourish with care, we strive to help our young people remain connected to God after receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation as they navigate the transition into adulthood and the challenges of an increasingly secular world. Our Youth Ministry provides opportunities for Bible studies, open discussions about the Catholic faith, conversations on Catholic moral teachings, service opportunities, and fun fellowship activities. Through these experiences, students continue to deepen their relationship with Christ while building meaningful friendships with one another and our parish priests.
If you would like your student to continue growing in their faith while enjoying fellowship with their peers, Youth Ministry is the place to be. It is a welcoming community where students are encouraged to be themselves, ask questions, strengthen their relationship with God, and become more involved in the life of the parish. Youth Ministry meets on Wednesday evenings during the Religious Education schedule, making it easy for students to remain active in their faith beyond Confirmation while continuing to grow alongside their peers.
