From the Rector's Desk: Basilica closed for private visits until after Triduum
Dear parishioners of Saint Peter's, Today I traveled to Charleston to concelebrate the Chrism Mass with the Bishop and only seven other priests. This is the Mass in which the Bishop blesses the oils we use in our sacramental ministries and during which the priests of the Diocese renew the promises made at their ordination. Not to have been surrounded by my brothers on such an auspicious day was strange, indeed. Yet, it marks the reality the Church, like everyone, is adjusting
