VI. OTHER LOGISTICS
Facilities
Please be aware that St. Peter’s Church itself seats approximately 450 people. It is accessible to our handicapped guests via a ramp on the school side of the church. Please inform the wedding coordinator of any guests with special needs.
Liturgical Furnishings
St. Peter’s provides all furnishings for the sacred liturgy. This includes all vestments, books, candles, candlesticks, kneelers, chairs, and other needed elements. Church furnishings are fixed and cannot be moved. Family heirlooms cannot be used in the celebration of the sacred liturgy.
Dressing for the Wedding
There is a Bride’s Room for changing dresses and touching up hair and makeup. Men must come dressed except for final touches. If changing rooms are required, private arrangements should be made with one of the neighboring hotels or motels.
After the Wedding
Receiving lines and signing the bridal book are appropriate at the reception, not at the church. No rice, birdseed, confetti, bubbles, sparklers, or flower petals may be used in the church, in front of the church, or on the sidewalks outside the church.
