Intro to Centering Prayer

Through the grace of the sacraments we come to know God’s presence. Centering Prayer facilitates consent to God’s presence and action within us. This form of silent prayer brings the rich Christian tradition of contemplation into a modern setting. Come learn more about Centering Prayer and be guided through a brief Centering experience on Sunday, February 11 at 10 in Neglia Hall, following 9 a.m. Mass. The same introductory session will be repeated Sunday, February 11 at 6:30 p.m. in the conference room, following 5:30 Sunday, February 11 evening Mass. Greg Carbone and Karen Beidel have facilitated the Centering Prayer Group at St. Peter’s for many years. It meets the second and fourth Mondays of the month in church.
