Help us unlock $750,000 in matching funds

Dear Parishioners and Friends of Saint Peter's:

As of today, the parish has raised over $4.29 million for A New Generation of Founders capital campaign. New pledges are coming in steadily. I am so thankful to those who have prayerfully and joyfully made commitments to this exciting parish-wide effort.

Now I am overjoyed to share some news that I believe will catapult us toward our fundraising goal. Two generous parishioners have pledged up to $750,000 in matching funds to the campaign to amplify the commitments of their fellow parishioners.

The details:

Beginning Sunday, May 30, every pledge of $750 or more, received by July 15, from a family or individual that has not already pledged, will unlock a matching gift.

Your pledge of $10,000 will unlock a matching gift, for a total impact of $20,000!
Your pledge of $3,000 will unlock a matching gift, for a total impact of $6,000!
Your pledge of $750 will unlock a matching gift, for a total impact of $1,500!

Our hope is that at least 50% of parishioners will make a commitment to the campaign. Therefore, if you have not already done so, please make your pledge today and help us earn every last dollar of the $750,000 matching gifts. Consider that $750 over five years is only $12.50 per month - an amount I believe everyone can afford! And if you have already made your commitment to the campaign, please pray that many will join us in this great endeavor as we begin our third century of ministry in downtown Columbia!
