An update from the Basilica: information about "close contact"

Thank you again for your support in the wake of Fr. Linsky's COVID-19 diagnosis. Father is at home, resting and receiving periodic medical care for his symptoms. One of his greatest concerns is for the well-being of the staff, volunteers and anyone who has potentially had "close contact" with him in the past several days. As is standard practice, DHEC has contacted Fr. Linsky and communicated with him that he was likely contagious as early as Wednesday, October 14th. We are reaching out to individuals who we believe may meet "close contact" criteria to make sure they are aware of Father's diagnosis. However, we ask all who interacted with Fr. Linsky between Wednesday, October 14th and Monday, October 19th, to self-evaluate your level of contact and follow CDC and SC DHEC recommendations accordingly (see links below).
